Job Description

Director Of SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

This pivotal role will be responsible for driving our organic growth strategy, spearheading initiatives in search engine optimization (SEO), website strategy, conversion rate optimization (CRO), content marketing, and cultivating strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and execute Detailer's Roadmap digital marketing roadmap, leveraging a comprehensive approach to elevate the brand's online visibility and drive sustainable growth.


Job Type:

  • Full-time
  • Hybrid team with a 3-day in office structure, 2 day at-home/remote. Our office is currently located in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Description & Responsibilities

  • As the Director of SEO, you will be responsible for driving organic traffic growth, enhancing online visibility, and ensuring the overall success of our clients' digital marketing campaigns
  • Create, craft and develop scalable SEO plans that is can encompass growth based on a customers population and growth goals.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and development of a team of SEO Content Strategists and Technical Specialists
  • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, including crawlability, indexing, and rendering, to identify and resolve technical SEO challenges
  • Develop and execute effective and innovative SEO strategies to improve organic search performance for clients across various industries


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of validated experience in a similar role for agency setting, with proven success in managing SEO teams and strategies for SMBs (Small to Medium Sized Businesses)
  • The ideal candidate will have a mix of SEO, editorial, analytical, and leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the ever-shifting search landscape, industry trends, and SEO best practices
  • Experience training non-experts in SEO best practices and providing feedback over time as strategies mature
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO tools and software such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Moz Pro
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development or related field is a plus
