  • Do these plans include hosting?

    Yes!  Our plans include website cloud hosting via Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud with a Global Content Delivery Network (CDN).  


    This is a very comprehensive dashboard and hosting package is valued at $299/year. If you are a monthly customer this is included and is not additional.

  • Restrictions on Roadmap putting another site in my town?

    We have a committment to your business. The better you do, the better we do. 


    Detailers Roadmap can offer one website per 35k population of your business location and/or targeted town. With a cap of 5 sites per 750k population.


    In addition, we will not build a website of the same skin in your town. As once you choose a skin, that is considered a lockout for that style.


    If you are in a city of 65k, we can create up to two websites. If its a town of 85k, it would be three websites max.


    We understand some customers want exclusivity for their city, we offer exclusive options for these scenarios. 


    If you are an on-going SEO customer, we will no longer accept websites in your town as we consider that a lock for future business as long as your an SEO customer. For previously, or in-progress websites, we cannot remove current customers.

  • Are these websites templates?

    No, we have custom built every website from scratch using a robust CMS (content management system).  Your website starts with a one of our designs, but always ends up being custom written and designed. We only build unique websites.


    Our monthly packages include a choice of 10 designs, and customizing that design to your pricing, logos, colors, design, and style. That is how we keep the price point down.


    If you prefer to have a completely custom website, our pricing starts at $5,500 for a 10+ page website.

  • Can I upgrade my F14 to a F22 Package Later?

    Absolutely! We would have to send out a revised contract as a new 12 month minimum would be required from the launch date. But we can absolutely bump you up to an F22 from an F14 package.

  • How do I pay?

    Our packages are monthly subscription based. Our system charges a price that gets automatically billed every month. We have a minimum 1 year contract at this pricing. 


    Custom websites are billed with staged deposits.

  • Where is the small print?

    Our full terms of service and contract gets emailed prior to any work starting. We are fully transparent, this is not a gimmick. 


    There is a caveat to this pricing and any imagery provided by 8bitcreative. When payment is not rendered for the monthly charge, we will initiate a takedown notice if the bill is not paid in 14 days - the website will go offline. 


    Any images and SEO content is all provided by 8bitcreative, as such, is not available for you to use elsewhere for other purposes (ie: I like this picture, I want to print it on my banner). 8bitcreative owns the website content, as such, we do not license it out for other purposes.

  • Is the website responsive or mobile friendly?

    Over 70% of website traffic will be coming from mobile devices. We design all of our websites to be mobile and responsive device focused knowing that is our main audience.

  • I need to make a change to my website!

    No problem. We have a comment system integration where you leave us a comment on what change (new pictures, change names, different pricing) you want. 


    There are 6 hours of web development included per year. Additional web time is billed at $95/hour.

  • How long does the monthly go on?

    Our monthly price includes hosting, development, website creation, writing and 6.0 hours of annual website at your disposal. As such, there is a significant investment on our end. We are so confident you will be happy with our services that we only ask for a 1-year committment.


    If you prefer to purchase a site instead of a monthly occurrence, please reach out to us and we will get you a pro-rata billing (Price of website minus deposit/monthly payments + annual development/hosting + finance charge = final buyout)

  • Does a website build include SEO?

    All of our websites include foundational SEO writing, research and proper SEO building and creation technique (alt text, h1, meta descriptions, open graph). This is part of our website building process and is one of the reasons why sites we build rank so well.


    On-going SEO, is a on-going management of technical and content adjustments to your website, blogs and google business profile. This is an on-going, seperate service beyond the website build and is not included. This is for someone who absolutely has to rank #1-3 in their Google map pack and standard search results against their competitors. 


    Our SEO plans typically include 3-12 hours of senior SEO development, per month. See the SEO plans page for further information. 

  • Is this website built on Wordpress?

    No, we do not use wordpress. We have built over 200+ Wordpress websites and love it - it's not a fit for these websites.


    The problem with WordPress is stability, speed, constant updates, and the onslaught of new Google algorithm changes.


    Detailer's Roadmap websites are designed for high speed, conversion optimization, and google ranking. With these factors in mind, we use a different system.

  • What is included in the Tom Cat Package?

    See our inclusion list above. In addition, we do require a initial setup.  This initial setup takes a skin as a starting point, then begins our custom design process:

    • Implementing your logos, pictures, images, packaging and pricing
    • Custom research and writing. There is no copy pasting of data on any of our websites!
    • SEO Writing based on your form submission of your pricing and offerings
    • Alt text SEO tagging
    • Image optimization and naming for Google SEO

  • What if I need a domain?

    No problem. It is our policy to not own your domain; it's also not in your best interest for anyone to own your domain - except you.


    We really like Google Domains for your domain purchase. It's $12/yr, free privacy and is easy to allow people access to give access for website pointing.

  • When will I receive my website?

    On average, once we receive our form submission filled out & pictures, we typically can deliver a website within 10 business days for your 1st review.


    Our design process is thorough, as this website is built for your business. 

  • What if I don't have good imagery?

    No problem. We a few options for imagery that include use of a free stock image website called Unsplash and Pexels. 


    We have additional partnerships with photographers that have provided photos for free in exchange for licensing, acknowledgement and links back to their websites.


    It is always recommended to provide your own personal content and imagery to set yourself apart from the competition.

  • What is your experience in detailing?

    We are car people! Not only are we car people, our main business, 8bitcreative, is a marketing company that specializes in automotive detailing. Our clients include Lake Country MFG, LC Power Tools, Autofiber, Chicago Auto Pros and more.


    Additionally, we are co-owners in Oberk Car Care, a compound and polishing manufacturer.
