What is a Service Area Page (SAP)?

Get ranking in towns that you are not physically located in!

Hey guys, I just wanted a quick talk about service area pages and what is a service area page. So just as a foundation, we write your website, typically targeting, targeting the largest town or your town that you're in.

So in this example, these auto detailing we're targeting the town that he's physically located in to make the strongest foundation for SEO so that he pops up in his priority town.

What is a Service Area Page?

A service area page is where we are targeting a town that you are not physically in. So Google knows if we try and shove other towns on your site all over the place, that it will actually negatively affect your site.

So what we can do is we make a page dedicated to the town. And so in this example, he's targeting Eastern Pennsylvania.

We're talking about paint protection and film in Eastern Pennsylvania. We're talking about the benefits and paint protection film. We're talking about coatings detailing and so on.

And while we put a map about Eastern Pennsylvania and it's all good writing, um, you know, in this example, film and tent and all that stuff.

So what happens when you do that it does take time and patience from Google, but a lot of times Google will pick up on that and rank your website in that targeted town.

Remember, Easton Pennsylvania is not where this gentleman is located. I just want to be really clear. So he's not in the map pack because his, his location is not in Eastern PA. Eastern PA is a decent amount of way.

But if you count one, two, and then, uh, three, oh, go figure three, this is his page. So he's ranking out some guys in that are literally physically located in this town.

Um, so same thing is like, if you did town, uh, we did a Patriot Allentown, PA, and not in a map pack, but one, two, and there he is, again, three now it's depending on your competition, right?

If you there's tons of competition or if it's major, major cities, you're probably not gonna get this high up on the ground, but our websites are extremely well-built.

We can pretty much outrank anyone who doesn't have a decent website or know how to build it. So that's really the advantage of us.

At Roadmap, you are our partners. So it's kind of, kind of pretend like it's a funnel for people who are in Allentown and they're going to search like ceramic coating near me, PPF near me, or paint protection film.

And the goal is that this is just an additional funnel for you guys to get more traffic. Um, it works really well for towns under a hundred thousand, anything over a hundred thousand, you can get kind of mixed results.

Because usually there's more competition. Um, a lot of times we will put them like in this site, we're building, we'll put it like right at the bottom, if there's a lot, I mean, some guys like, so this example is like, we're literally developing a whole page just for this town.

Same thing, trying to get us to appear in that area. We do very good at getting people to show up in that area.

So that's kind of the whole point of a service area page is to get you traffic and towns that you're not physically located in.

So hopefully that answers it. A lot of people always ask, can you add it to a package? You can, and can you do onesies?

Sure. We typically like to do at minimum two. So a lot of times people are doing 2, 4, 6. It's a fantastic way to get you to show up and other towns you're not located at.
